Airbus published third quarter performance and delivery updates on 28 October 2026.

Airbus had delivered 547 aircraft in the first nine months of 2026 as of the report date. The company stated its third quarter profit decline was caused by lower aircraft deliveries, unfavorable product mix, and Spirit AeroSystems integration costs.
Boeing management has stated 737 Max aircraft deliveries will not meet the 500 unit annual target.
The GEnx-1B engine powers approximately two thirds of all Boeing 787 aircraft currently in commercial service.
