Two major international carriers have adjusted long haul service schedules, including one extended temporary suspension and one formal permanent route cancellation.

Emirates has revised its schedule to extend the suspension of Airbus A380 service on the Dubai-Amsterdam route. AeroRoutes reports the carrier had originally scheduled this suspension to run only from 1 October 2026 through 31 October 2026.

American Airlines permanently cancelled its Philadelphia to Doha route in June 2024. Simple Flying confirms the carrier first suspended service on the route at the outbreak of the Iran war.

Qatar Airways began daily Airbus A350 flights between Doha and Philadelphia in August 2024, replacing the cancelled American Airlines service.
