Puerto Rico Public Affairs Secretary Jean Peña Payano stated on Tuesday that the government is evaluating mechanisms to recover additional diesel costs incurred at Central San Juan power plant units 5 and 6.

The evaluation comes as officials await the arrival of the Amur River natural gas barge.

Peña Payano noted the costs were incurred during the delay of the barge's arrival.
